理化学硝子は用途に対してストレートに設計され、専門的な分野で使用されています。
溶液を入れることが多いため、比較的その形には優しい丸みを帯びているものが多いですが
DEGREEは、一切の色付けと表面加工のない透明な硝子の直線と角だけで構成されています。（側面からの形）
温かみよりも、透明で無機質な部分での硝子の魅力を感じて頂ければと思います。
その無機質の裏には手間のかかるハンドメイドであることや耐熱で強固であるという理化学硝子の特徴が
しっかりと入っています。
「一生もの」としてご愛用頂けます。

「DEGREEの形は日常」

相対するものと角度。
ものごとのほとんどに相対するものがあってそれが隣り合っている。
どしゃぶりの雨の後に、虹がでることだってそんなことで。
あっちに傾いたり、こっちに傾いたりとなかなか安定しない。
ちょうどいい角度で隣り合ってくれたらいいのになぁ。

日常の中での気持ちであり、自然現象であり、暮らしでもある。
そんな不安定に隣り合う相対するものを透明で頑丈な理化学硝子で表現してみました。

Laboratory glasses are designed and used for exact purposes in special areas.

Liquid contents are usually poured in laboratory glasses. Therefore, shapes of laboratory glasses are often curving. However, “DEGREE” are only consisted of edges and straight lines in no-surface finishing and uncolored clear glasses when shapes are viewed from sides.

In clearness and inorganic appearance, uniqueness of “DEGREE “can be found.

Behind the inorganic appearance, there are solid characteristics as laboratory glasses in detailed oriented designs and heat-resistance. This feature allows them to last for a life time.



“DEGREE” are products made by Koizumi Glass Seisakusho. Koizumi Glass Seisakusho is one of rare glass i manufacturers in Japan which can dissolve borosilicate glass by them.

Shapes of “DEGREE” represent daily lives.
Counterparts and angles.
Things usually have their counter parts sitting next each other.
After rush of rain, we see rainbow. That’s one of examples.
Things are not stable in a way they don’t really settle in one place.
We wish they could sit each other just in right positions.
It can be a feeling we have in a daily life. It could be just a natural phenomenon and probably this represents life is all about.

“DEGREE” with clear and solid laboratory glasses could express this kind of unstable counterparts sitting next each other.
